A lovely historic building, with a beautiful old fireplace in my room. The breakfast was generous, and the room cosy and comfortable. The shower was strong and hot, and the staff were cheerful and friendly. I enjoyed my supper.

It was a central location for exploring Shipston on Stour and surrounding area; we only stayed the one night, but enjoyed our stay, along with the cooked breakfast. The room was comfortable and quiet as we had requested

Location was excellent with the Christmas displays, atmosphere and parking option was excellent. The service was equally so by reception and hospitality staff. Room facilities were a good quality.

Breakfast and dinner at the Red Lion is of a very high standard and whenever I stay I always eat at the restaurant and the food has always been delicious.
Fantastic stay here. From the moment we arrived, which was quite late in the evening, we were made to feel really welcome. Jonathan went completely out of his way to help us settle in and helped get us a table for dinner at short notice. Food was amazing both at dinner and breakfast. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming. Beds were really comfy too and the rooms have been decorated to a high standard.
The staff were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.
The location was ideal for exploring the many surrounding villages - Snowshill, Broadway, Great Tew.
The food served for dinner and also breakfast was very high quality and reasonable too.
Lovely place, have a Pub/Restaurant attached to it that servers dinner as well. Good and comfortable room. Lots of parking and a good value for the money !
The staff were extreamly friendly and very attentive! We understood they were dog friendly but this exceeded our expectations. There were lovely dog towels, bowls and even throw for the bed for the dogs. The breakfast was included in our booking and was delicious, plenty of choice as well as being able to have a starter and main for breakfast!! We also ate our dinner there and this was also very wonderful. 10/10 and would definitely stay again!
Red Lion Inn really made an impression on me. It was so incredibly cozy--my room was a tiny attic room, and yet I had everything I needed, and enjoyed snuggling up there. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinners even more, the latter when it got nice and lively at night by the fire. This place is everything you want an English countryside inn to be.
Exceptional service at the Red Lion Inn. Food amazing, room comfortable and service friendly. We had everything we needed and more for a relaxing couple of days in the Cotswolds.
The best part was being able to take our dog with us wherever we went. He absolutely loved the attention and treats!
We were made to feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.
Charming inn. Owners and personnel really friendly and helpful. Clean rooms full of character. The food was excellent. Best food we had on our holiday in the UK.
