The sea view was brilliant. The beer was good. The breakfast was amazing!
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Warm welcome, comfortable spacious room with bigctoilet and great shower.
Lovely beer garden...did help that the weather when we arrived was glorious.
Service at dinner could've been a bit quicker, but place was busy. The breakfast was plentiful, quick, hot and tasty.
Have already recommended here to family as an overnight stop.
Very friendly characterful hotel . The staff and owner went out of their way to ensure everything was ok.
Good choice of well cooked and presented food likewise for dinner.
Beautiful country house/horse farm in the middle of the Quantock Hills. Amazing cross country walking trails everywhere! If you’re a nature lover, you’ll love this as much as we did. Very cosy room and delicious breakfast - served in a typical old English country house. Anne & Mark were so accommodating and very helpful in booking our pub dinners and showing us the trails.
The Hood Arms is an old coaching inn. It’s in a lovely location on the main road in Klive. It is a traditional pub with stone floors and fires. we receive a lovely welcome and shown up to our room. We enjoyed our meal and drinks there in the evening. very friendly staff.
Staff were very welcoming, couldn't do more for you. The overall place has a great atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable and clean, beds were great.
Had dinner here one night which was absolutely delicious and breakfast was professionally presented, cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful.
They also have a beer garden which I imagine is lovely in the spring/ summer months.
Would highly recommend.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Exceptionally clean in all areas. Lovely bright bedroom with tea/coffee making facilities, walk in wardrobe, hairdryer, ironing facilities, couldn't have wanted anything more. Lovely. Menu choices for dinner and breakfast were excellent too.
We had a lovely 2 night stay at The Hood Arms. It's a 17thC Inn and the accommodation is upstairs from the public areas. The rooms are comfortably furnished and each seemed to have individual charm. Our room (1) overlooked the rear garden, and had a large bathroom with a roll top freestanding bath, a separate walk in shower and a Chaise Longue !
We ate in the restaurant on both nights, and the food on both occasions was excellent, as was the service.
They get very busy in the evenings, so booking is definitely recommended.
