Can strongly recommend this place. Really enjoyed the excellent food and the very warm welcome from the whole team. Having the hot tub was great too.

Dinner & breakfast food was well cooked as requested. We were seated in the bar area, which was devoid of other customers and felt quite chilly. An electric coal fire was present, but it was unclear if it was operational. The room, an extension to the traditional thatched pub advertised, lacked ambiance and did not feature the low ceilings that would have complemented the original structure. The decor and carpets appeared worn and seemed overdue for an update.
With a thatched roof and white stone walls, The Old Ferry Boat is considered England’s oldest inn. Overlooking the Great Ouse River, the rooms are tastefully furnished and have free Wi-Fi.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
An old coaching inn with bags of character. Large room, comfortable bed and great shower. The quiet fan in the room was appreciated, stayed when there was actually some warm weather. Choice of continental or full English breakfast, both very good. Great location for centre of town. Friendly staff 😃
Breakfast - food was excellent, choice was so varied, never seen a toffee milkshake before, staff fantastic, made Mum a poached egg and got her a banana when there was none left.
Dinner - superb. Fresh and tasty and excellent portions. Varied menu.
Room - very clean
Pool - beautiful until the children arrived! Could do with slightly less wide step ladders for those with knee problems!
Only its FUTURE potential, based on its historic past, and a return to the welcoming and historic Inn it once was a number of years ago.
