    Dinner took ages to arrive then a massive hair was in it mmmmm not good returned then replaced with another, no adjustment to the bill , room ok breakfast was basic continental, won’t stay again sorry

    this was one of the nicest, yet least expensive places we stayed in 20 days recently in England and Scotland. comfy, hip, well appointed room with cool tub in the bath. great attached pub + restaurant with excellent, fast service in a beautiful historic building. my lamb shank dinner was as good as any meal i had in the UK. good breakfast. great wifi, free parking.

    Food was excellent at dinner and staff throughout were great and the pub/restaurant areas were really nice and location was very quiet I could gear the church clock chime every hour 😀
