Super dog friendly, perfect location...perfect hosts with amazing comfy beds and breakfast heaven ... Lots of soft towels, a very relaxed atmosphere, and a decent quality toilet roll.
Room 5 was spacious, had a nice bath in the bathroom, and shower gel shampoo soap provided. 2 beds , a fan and plenty of tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits too...
The bar is warm and welcoming with super friendly staff and locals x

Nice secure grasses beer garden where dogs can run x

We have stayed many times over last 9 years. Lovely old worlde cosy room, very comfortable large bed. Breakfast was great value. We ate in restaurant 2 nights and had 2 good meals. There was a function on but didn't really effect us as staff still very helpful. All the staff where friendly, polite and helpful.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Staff were excellent and very friendly

The bed was comfortable and the bed linen clean and crisp.
A fantastic, really quirky, very old (14th century) inn full of character and a great atmosphere. The staff were jolly, friendly and helpful. The food was very good. I plan to go for a return visit soon.
From arriving to when we left the staff were cordial, helpful and attentive.
The previous occupants of our room had removed the toilet seat, but the staff soon had it fixed. First-class service. Dinner was excellent and the service was good. We only had one night as it was halfway to our next stopover, had we had time we'd have stopped a couple more nights.
We had dinner here the first night it was good pub grub, great pub very busy and as with all hospitality venues they need more staff. however the staff worked so hard and cheerful with it.
