A perfect stop in the middle of nowhere driving through narrow English country lanes. The bar was cozy with friendly locals and the food (I had a burger with pepper corn sauce for dinner) and breakfast (full English with black pudding) was amazing. They saw I was wet from hiking Hadrians Wall and let me check in a little early to dry off, so that was really appreciated.

First, the bed and pillows were maybe the softest, most comfortable I've ever experienced. Really. Next, the staff was amazing: friendly, congenial, informative, caring and responsive. Also, the bathroom and shower were first rate... best of our trip. The shower water always came out hot and strong! Also, the place was so very, very quiet. Lastly, the food served at the downstairs restaurant was really, truly good. We were so impressed with the Sauteed Mushrooms in Garlic Sauce on Chibatta... and the Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Nice place with spacious, comfortable room. Food was excellent and reasonable value . Also, the restaurant fitted me in on a very busy Saturday night when I was alone so worth a mention!

We stayed at The Belted Will Inn on the way up from London to Scotland and on the way back. Absolutely loved it - super friendly staff, the rooms were lovely plus clean and the bar/restaurant is excellent. Great meals in good portions at fair prices. Our family all enjoyed staying here and the surrounding area is very peaceful. Easy parking too. This will be our regular overnight stop driving up to Scotland!
The hosts make this little inn. My wife has some dietary intolerances and they really went out of their way to accommodate her. Staff all very friendly and food tasty and plentiful.
The location was ideal for our purposes, having set off from Bowness On Solway for a weeks cycle trip this was our first stop, The owners and staff could not have been more helpful or considerate to our needs, The evening meal and breakfast were superb, well cooked and ample portions a good choice of beer and Guinness, If you are in this area this is the place to stay.
Breakfast was superb as was dinner the night before. Staff and owners are amazing and very friendly, we also managed to get a takeaway apple pie ( scrumpy). A great place location wise in a super area.
