Cute place and interesting rooms - a lovely hot bath and shower too was a bonus. Food was great although a small variety (small kitchen) - location is great if that is where you want to be - there is nothing else around...

Lovely staff, homely down to earth pub, restaurant with rooms in a gorgeous quiet village but not remote. Fantastic view from Rm3 across Coquetvale/River Coquet to the hills/moors across the valley. Relaxing walk along the river. Even the locals in the pub were welcoming. The bed was gloriously comfortable too.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Excellent, friendly staff, clean with lots of nice touches, good atmosphere and great value for money .
The location was ideal for our Hepple Gin Walk, hearty food, good choice at the bar, and plentiful breakfast. We also used the Hotel/ Inns recommendation for a local taxi.
The Inn is located on the edge of the National Park so was an ideal start point for our 7 day holiday to visit Northumbria and places of Interest.
All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful it was a delight to stay, so much so we had dinner every evening from a varied menu.
The Inn was exceptionally clean in every area.
