The room was lovely and very comfortable. We had a fantastic view. Clean and tidy had everything needed. The staff were very friendly and you felt welcomed. I will definitely be back for another visit. The pub itself was lovely and we had some food can't fault it.😊

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Firstly, the location is unbeatable! Easy access to both Mam Tor and Kinder Scout. The staff are fantastic and really couldn’t do enough to look after us. We enjoyed a home cooked meal in the evening and had breakfast included…both were great. This is a lovely rustic, super friendly place which, with its location, is obviously very popular with hikers and walkers.
Fantastic location in heart of the village and near the railway station. Warm and friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Comfortable room, and pleasant Victorian Inn with character. We shall return.
Staying in the cottage next to the hotel , all I can say is it was a pleasurable experience in the cottage , very clean and tidy with the bedroom giving you a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding hills of Edale .
Very quiet just what we needed to enjoy our time in the Rambler Inn .
Excellent food and drink offered in the hotel too .
