Firstly, the location is unbeatable! Easy access to both Mam Tor and Kinder Scout. The staff are fantastic and really couldn’t do enough to look after us. We enjoyed a home cooked meal in the evening and had breakfast included…both were great. This is a lovely rustic, super friendly place which, with its location, is obviously very popular with hikers and walkers.

Staying in the cottage next to the hotel , all I can say is it was a pleasurable experience in the cottage , very clean and tidy with the bedroom giving you a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding hills of Edale . Very quiet just what we needed to enjoy our time in the Rambler Inn . Excellent food and drink offered in the hotel too .
