The accommodation was excellent as well as the staff and food. We can not rate this place highly enough . The service was exceptional. All the staff were friendly and accommodating on every level.
The food was so amazing we ate there the whole 3 days we were there. The attention to detail was second to none. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family and would love to go back.

Fabulous location, staff were lovely. The bedroom was amazing. Very comfortable bed. Large Bath. All very clean. Breakfast was 5 star. We had an evening meal there...highly recommended, food was amazing. Just a wonderful stay. Will definitely return.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Firstly, the location is unbeatable! Easy access to both Mam Tor and Kinder Scout. The staff are fantastic and really couldn’t do enough to look after us. We enjoyed a home cooked meal in the evening and had breakfast included…both were great. This is a lovely rustic, super friendly place which, with its location, is obviously very popular with hikers and walkers.
Fantastic location in heart of the village and near the railway station. Warm and friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Comfortable room, and pleasant Victorian Inn with character. We shall return.
