The staff were charming. Full marks to Nigel and Chris at breakfast. and Rollo for making excellent cocktails. And thanks to Junio for kindly not charging us for a dreadful dinner. Sadly that is all we did like about this hotel.
Delightful in all respects! The room was cozy and very nice for some bath-time. Staff was great! We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, with enjoyable experiences in both occasions! The location is just terrific overall! Highly recommended!
The food was divine, ambience was Hollywood meets quirky English and renaissance Italy. Service attentive and the feeling you were being looked after. The patron was charming and generous with his time chatting with me.
Beautiful rustic grounds, sheep and orchards
We recently stayed at Spinneycross and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The B&B was very comfortable, had beautiful gardens and views. It was situated in a lovely quiet area.
Dot was a warm, kind and friendly host. Dot’s breakfasts were so nice and presented beautifully.
Room with excellent views over the valley and terrace.,Travelers love to have a comfortable bed and Spinneycross had the best. Also a nice place to sit and use hair dryer in the bathroom. Full English breakfast.
A great value location for a midweek / short break. Breakfast and Dinner included. A very individual property with bags of style and a genuine quirkiness, thanks to its owners storied history. Intimate cocktail bar, a real plus and service from the whole team was great. Untapped potential with the grounds and more accessibility would make this place extra special. More menu/dinner options would be welcome too.
