This is the third time we’ve spent a weekend at the Bull. It used to be really good but sadly it’s slipped to being just okay and I don’t expect to go back.

We enjoyed the breakfast choices; the food was lovely.
Our room was beautifully decorated and furnished and very comfortable.
The sloe gin was a nice and unexpected welcome.
We ate in the restaurant on our first night. The food and service were outstanding.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We only had breakfast once as we were spending as much time as possible with our grandchildren.The one dinner we had on our last evening was excellent.The location was ideal for us and we will visit again, hopefully for longer.
The staff, food, ambiance, range of ales and beer garden were excellent. Ken the landlord was very welcoming.
