I've stayed here a few times and am very happy with it. I travel to Wallingford for work sometimes and this is my preferred hotel.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We only had breakfast once as we were spending as much time as possible with our grandchildren.The one dinner we had on our last evening was excellent.The location was ideal for us and we will visit again, hopefully for longer.
The staff, food, ambiance, range of ales and beer garden were excellent. Ken the landlord was very welcoming.
We felt the Swan was a splendid country inn
From arrival to departure the staff we friendly and very helpful.
Food delicious both at dinner and breakfast.
Very clean comfortable room.
Very quiet and we will be staying again when in the area.
