Darlington Arms, hotel in Compton Martin

Located in Redhill, 14 km from Ashton Court, Darlington Arms provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Great location to stay the night before going to airport. The loft room was lovely. There was only one gentleman working front of house when we stayed. He checked us in, was holding down the bar, taking orders and bringing out the food later in the evening. Really friendly helpful guy, even carried my luggage up the stairs to the loft despite being busy. Food was good in the restaurant too.

We loved the quaint little cottage! The host was so lovely and accommodating and gave us great recommendations on local places to go for dinner during our stay. The place was very homesome, with everything we needed. The fireplace area was so comfy and inviting - I couldn’t resist sitting with a book in the morning and watching the world go by through the big windows. It felt like you had your own little slice of peace and quiet. We came down for our friends wedding, but we would absolutely stay here again if we were coming back!

Lovely Country pub, a great atmosphere, and really friendly helpful staff morning and night. Suprised by the complimentary Beer and Proseco in the room. Good dinner menu, and well cooked. Breakfast is spot on: best poached eggs in months.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. We felt very well taken care of. The room was very comfortable with a nice, clean bathroom and excellent tea and coffee-making facilities. The breakfast was included in the room rate and was very tasty. We also had dinner the night before which was also delicious. We would definitely stay there again!

First impressions were very good. The room was modern and nicely decorated with a view of the Mendip Hills from the window. It was in a good location for the places we wanted to visit. We have stayed in a Butcombe Inn before and found the pub itself very welcoming and the food excellent.
