We stayed for one night and everything was excellent, the food was great in the evening and good prices for drinks,
The room was clean and the bed was massive and very comfortable, we had a great night sleep
breakfast was good with plenty of selection available.
the staff were very friendly and attentive.
we wouldn't hesitate on staying here again. Very surprised it's only a 2 star hotel. we've stayed in a lot worse 3 and 4 Star hotels.

Very comfortable and clean room and centrally located very handily for town centre and station, helpful staff the little contact I had, nice welcome tray.
Set in a Grade II listed Tudor building, The Old Crown serves traditional ales. An English menu is served in the restaurant.

The Old Crown is the oldest pub in Birmingham, it is a very cute old traditional building. Pub is amazing and rooms were OK. Very steep stairs up to the rooms, shared bahtroom was nice and clean. The only thing you have to expect is the noise coming from the pub and courtyard. If you are planning to go to bed early, you won't sleep :) It can get pretty noisy.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Lovely rooms, clean, spacious and close to the airport which is heat we needed. As it's a pub we were able to get dinner as we arrived, food was great and reasonably priced. Staff really friendly, ample parking
I booked 28 rooms as we were working at the NEC so the hotels location was in easy reach and much more reasonable in price than the local NEC hotels
The rooms had recently been refurbished and were clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel. The menu is huge and the food quality was good. Two of my colleagues had the carvery and said it was very tasty.
Comfortable and clean en suite bedroom. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Slight noise from road with window open but had quietened off by time went to bed. Nice little hotel in a lovely setting.
Comfy, clean room. Pleasant and responsive innkeeper who does not hover but was available when needed. Kitchen/fridge stocked with essentials. We really had a great stay here for our purposes as a traveling team for business. We look forward to returning!
Lovely stay, Blythewood guest house is the perfect antidote to a busy week exhibiting at the NEC. Homely and clean, a much better experience than chain hotel alternatives. Made to feel very welcome, very happy and will happily book again.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
When we arrived at the Innkeepers Lodge, we were moved to the accessible room, as the manager saw that both myself and my husband had mobility issues. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fabulous, the staff were polite and very helpful. . The room was clean, comfortable. Big bathroom which was fabulous. Good shower. . Our stay was excellent.
