The Horse and Groom Inn, hotel in Chichester

A 8-minute drive from Chichester, The Horse & Groom is a newly refurbished 17th century pub with delicious award-winning food and ale.

The room was clean, appeared freshly decorated and comfortable. (Bed was a little soft for us, but that's a personal preference and not a judgement on them). we ate in the restaurant on both nights and the staff were attentive and the food very good. We would come back if we are in the area again

Woolpack Inn, hotel in Chichester

Located in Fishbourne, the Woolpack Inn provides the perfect base from which to explore the South Downs and Chichester Harbor, just a 10-minute walk from Fishbourne Rail Station.

Although we had requested a quiet room, we were initially put in one facing the main road. However, the staff were very helpful in rearranging things so we had two nights in quiet rooms. All the staff were friendly and helpful and I would stay there again. I enjoyed the breakfasts.

Chichester Inn, hotel in Chichester

Located a 9-minute walk from Chichester Train Station, Chichester Inn offers 3-star accommodations in Chichester and has a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar.

The inn was literally right in town so it was an easy walk to all the places. Nick the owner met us and helped us check in. The bar is terrific and the service was with a smile. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! The best English breakfast we ate by far while we were in the UK. Also the car park was a dream!!! Parking in Chichister is a pain in the neck. The car park for the inn is adjacent to the inn and it was free and plenty of room!!

We arrived late at night during the trivia game in the bar. It was great fun to watch. But the best thing about the Trent was the staff. Supper friendly and helpful.

The White Swan, hotel in Chichester

Located just outside Arundel, in beautiful West Sussex countryside, The White Swan is a traditional and charming 4-star inn with free Wi-Fi. Littlehampton is a 15-minute drive away.

I have family that live in the area so always stay at the White Swan when I come to visit. As always this trip was comfortable, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great. This time my flight was delayed but had no problem checking in, even late in the evening.

Absolutely perfect location for our weekend at Goodwood races. 5 mins drive to the course and 5 min walk from a lovely pub to have dinner at after racing. The rooms were very comfortable with everything we could need. Our host was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious and we will definitely be back next year!

the cottage was vey comfortable, with everything needed for basic cooking, good beds and cosy atmosphere. A radio in the dinning room, nice. Some milk in the fridge and cookies, nice touch too. There was useful tourist information and maps and the hosts were very accommodating for check-in times. Enough towels, and extra blankets, some books on the shelves, overall we really enjoyed our stay. And it is walking distance from the train station, bus station (to the beach for instance) and the cathedral and city centre.

Central location, car park, really lovely traditional English inn. Even with the city centre location, and a jazz night one night, it was still lovely and quiet and we slept great. We spent two nights, I was plenty to do in Chichester. The breakfast at the Chichester Inn were amazing and would recommend a visit to the park Tavern in the city centre.

This is a lovely family run place. Communication before arrival was excellent. We stayed with two kids just for one night and had dinner at the nearby (200 m) pub Anglesey Arms. The food there was very good and reasonably priced including a great selection of vegetarian options. The breakfast at the Old Store Guest House was great and freshly cooked.

A lovely clean guest house, a decent amount of parking and really friendly hosts/staff. I slept really well, and it was a great location for both my work, and to go out for dinner/to the beach. The full english breakfast was fab!
