We were unable to stay at the Fox Inn due to an issue caused by heavy rain, however, Allen of the the Fox team rebooked us elsewhere to take the stress away and still allowed us to come to the Fox for breakfast as we had other members of family staying there instead. As we arrived, the staff were well informed of the situation and made us all feel welcomed and the food was delicious. We were very grateful to enjoy their hospitality.
Based on the friendliness of the staff, the communal areas and family comments about the rooms, I would happily return to try and take advantage and stay at the Fox.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We had DB&B, food and choice was excellent.
Very comfortable spacious bedrooms
Lovely outdoor garden where we had dinner. Nice choice of wine
Helpful and friendly team of staff
Great, atmospheric old world inn with two very good rooms. The pubs in a great position to look round Burford. We think it's also the best pub in Burford. We should know, we checked most of them out, and the others were good. The breakfast was excellent, as was the evening food. Harry, the landlord went over and above to help us re a taxi to Stone Barn.,even standing outside waiting for it!!! Very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic value in an area that knows how to charge. Loved it, Cheers Harry and your staff.
Fantastic Country Inn. Lovely breakfast and Dinner. I deal location to explore the area. Great Beer garden and outside space. staff were friendly and attentive. Couldn't fault our stay at all. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
An absolute treat staying in a beautiful, historic inn! Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was terrific. The location was ideal, just out of Burford, so parking was easy. Property is on a walk trail and we loved the walk - it took us through green fields and past old homes, for a terrific Cotswolds experience!
The Angel is a wonderful place to stay! A little rustic jewel in this beautiful Cotswold village.
The bar and restaurant areas are so cozy with a log burner roaring away!
The staff were very friendly and attentive and dinner was delicious!
The room was an amazing size and also lovely and warm for a cold winters night.
The breakfast in the morning was delicious.
Will definitely be staying again!
