A clean and comfortable inn on the sea front. Rooms was well appointed and good value with breakfast included. Have stayed there many times, always a pleasure, beer excellent but food menu now rather unexciting.

I chose The Cridford Inn to experience a bit of old-style English Inn culture and my expectations were quite high. They were not only met but clearly exceeded. A very quaint and lovely inn. It melded modern amenities perfectly into the old building (mind your head at some places, people were smaller back then). All was clean, the staff very friendly and the food tasted deliciously. The Cridford Inn is situated deep in the countryside offering nice walks. I'd definitely like to stay there again.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Everything about this little guest house makes you feel good. We have stayed here 3 times and just love the continuity.
My sister and I share the twin room which is just perfect for us.
We love the area with a bus stop outside the property or an easy walk down to the village. Budleigh Salterton is charming with its pubs and shops right on the seaside. A visit to the Donkey sanctuary or a walk along the river otter to Otterton are highly recommended.
Kathryn and George are the perfect hosts by the way x
Basic but comfortable room. Excellent food, both at dinner and breakfast, although a number of items unavailable from the evening menu on the night of my stay.
During my stay I had a major family problem which meant I had to cancel dinner after ordering it and cut my stay short.
The management were so supportive, cheerfully refunded the outstanding balance and even produce with sympathy card.
The Kings Arms may not be the poshest hotel in which I have stayed but they have left an impression of outstanding friendliness
The continental breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
Dinner was also good with a reasonable choice and the option of smaller portions.
The room was very comfortable.
This is an exceptional B&B.
The setting is a lovely home, our room was perfect with a nice sofa to relax on, extra provisions daily with home made cake and gorgeous tea set and other nice touches.
We definitely got more than we expected, with a delicious breakfast, seasonal fruit and homemade jam and marmalades.
Our hosts were friendly and helpful - with dinner recommendations and ideas for local walks.
We highly recommend - you won't be disappointed.
very good, plenty of variety.
