Very easy place to find it was in the middle of nowhere but very quite. The accommodation was clean and tidy. There was great Wi-Fi and a smart TV. The bathroom was clean and had a really good shower; there was everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Clean towels and bedding were provided. You were provided with a toiletry pack and tea pack. I particularly liked the option of being able to take the food to our accommodation for a quieter dining experience. This place was great for dogs; it was well-fenced and secure. My absolute faviourte part of this trip was the log burner it felt even more cozy with the snow falling outside.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Everything! Honestly for the price we were so pleased - from the hospitality you meet at the front desk to the spacious and clean room - we loved it! The dinner downstairs was also amazing - food had so much flavour! I can’t fault it the stay was amazing.
The staff where very friendly and helpful and managed to squeeze us in for dinner at the hotel dinner even when they where fully booked, I couldn’t find my room so the gentleman behind the desk showed us to the room.
The location was excellent, didn't need to use the car once there. Had dinner and breakfast both days, food and service were excellent.
Would consider visiting again.
Loved the decor of the whole place and the comfy bed. The dressing gown, slippers and quality toiletries all gave this a special feel. The roast dinner and cocktails from the restaurant were all really nice and all of the staff very pleasant.
Big clean room and bathroom. Very quiet. Plenty of choice for breakfast but same dinner menu the 3 nights we were there so we went out for 2 of them. Drinks prices very expensive.
Due to unexpected problems at home we had to leave at 5.a.m.on our final morning but the night porter was most understanding and explained that we would be contacted by the hotel re paying our outstanding bill.
Fantastic location and great historic pub made very stylish and comfortable. Very pleasant young staff and delicious food both for breakfast and dinner. The Bottles is a great centrally located spot, ten steps away from Alnwick Castle and gardens. Free parking one street away so travelling with bags is not a problem.
The property is in a fabulous location, perfect for a quiet holiday away from towns and hustle and bustle. Guests booking should be aware it is a lovely traditional guest house and not like a Premier Inn. You are actually staying in someones home and there are pets and lots of ornaments about. There is a large garden at the property which is great to sit out in. The hosts Jenny and Adrian are most friendly and welcoming and made our stay wonderful.
The holiday home was ideally situated for all the local amenities, especially the Alnwick Garden and the Market Tavern for two excellent dinners. The arrival pack and stock of spreads and jams ensured no starvation whatever time one arrived.
