The dinner here was outstanding ! We were here at the end of the summer season so many things were closed but the kids enjoyed the paddleball court and we enjoyed walking around the property and hiking around Puumala.
It was quiet with a nice back porch ! We enjoyed the breakfast and the ability to wander around the property even after checking out! The dinner at the restaurant was one of the best we ever have had —- and we have been around :). We enjoyed seeing all the rental options for our family for next time!

Pia is an exceptional host. A stay at Rantapappila is a real treat. I liked the many bath products, the free sauna, the terrace, the garden view, the chats with the other Finnish guests, and especially the possibilities to enjoy the environment of Puumala. There is so much to do and to experience: Norpapolkku, Nestorinranta, Niinisaari, Saimaa Canoeing, Sahanlahti,…we were glad we had booked for six nights.
