Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We stayed in a beautifully designed room with fantastic views. We loved how the guest house is desgined in such a natural way with the woods. There is a heater in the room, which kept us warm in the cooler evenings. In the evenings we could see the birds out of the big windows and on our spacious balcony. The owners are very attentive and helpful. They catered towards our special dietary requirements. Their friendly puppies were a delight.
We had a lovely stay with Bettina and Darwin. They made us feel really at home and told us a lot about life in Ecuador and the beautiful surroundings of Banos. Breakfast with the freshly made "Hefezopf" and dinner with local treats were great, too, and we really enjoyed the view over the valley.
Saul( and his sons) were friendly, helpful and attentive. The facilities were clean and the included breakfast was fresh and cooked to order. Our host arranged a trip on a Chiva, essentially colorful, open air bus with a party like atmosphere. The property has its own entrance, just off the street and is quiet. It is short walk to the two parks in Banos, the parks are each surrounded by restaurants. We enjoyed the Rooftop Selina for early dinner- and walked the Central Mercado
Very enchanting place inmidst the forest, surrounded by birds, flora and even a waterfall. The style the owners created is outstanding. Dinner was very good.
We ate two breakfasts and one dinner at the property, and we were happy with all of the meals. The Owner's son made us 4 wonderful entrees for dinner (including 2 gluten free meals). The property is unique and well done - I just wish it was a little larger so that we could walk around the property more.
The guest house is beautiful. You have a lovely view over the river. It's a bit out of Baños (about 20-25min walk) but because of that, you have a super quiet place. Johan is amazing and very helpful with everything, arranging trips if you want. And don't get me started about the breakfast: amazing!
Beds are good, warm shower, towels, soap, everything is there.
Staff is very accommodating and friendly. I love the two resident dogs. We had a late arrival and a staff member reached out to our party of 12 to see if we wanted to have dinner prepped ahead of time so that when we arrived we could eat a hot meal at the hotel.
Amazing hotel. The view, nature, volcano… i have no words to describe. We ordered room with big panoramic window. You can lay in the room in front of the window and dream!
Staff are so acomodating and friendly! Facilities are comfortable. Bed, pillows were so fantastic. Breakfast has no wide choice but it the same in all Equador. But food very delicious. Espessialy for dinner!
La Casa Verde Eco Guest House matched our expectations in terms of quality. It was a simple and affordable accommodation, but it stood out due to the amazing service and impeccable communication from our host, Johan. He really went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Breakfast was superb with an fantastic view on the river.
