Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Good location, easy check-in, easy parking. Although we didn't try the restaurant for dinner I hear it's good. Breakfast was good but number of dishes somewhat limited.
The staff were the friendliest, most helpful people you could hope to meet. The room was lovely, overlooking the water, and although the bathroom (for our particular room) was minuscule, it was perfectly adequate. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious as was breakfast. A delightful place to stay in this very pretty town
This small B&B was our favourite accommodation in our two week trip across Denmark - the location is perfect, the room we had very comfortable and the staff were lovely - all very helpful and friendly. The food in the Restaurant, both dinner and breakfast, were top class. Will definitely include
The hotel is located about 5 kilometers from Scandinavia's oldest city Ribe. The surroundings of the hotel are really nice, ideal for long walks and bike rides. We had a very spacious room with a balcony overlooking the water. Room was clean and quite new.
Really friendly staff, they made us some extra coffee to take on the long ride home. We had dinner at the restaurant once and it was lovely.
This restaurant is exquisite. Located in the historic section of town on the river. The restaurant to eat breakfast and dinner is fabulous! Only a five minute walk from the train and bus station and 2 minutes from the Cathedral, museums & Town Hall. I love the fresh gluten-free buns for breakfast cooked by Martin, the way breakfast is served, the roses at the window and the decor. Everything was very comfortable and the staff and the owner were so friendly and helpful. I wish to highly recommend Restaurant Saelhunden. 10/10.
Friendly host. A nice large room in an old town house on the center of Ribe. Very clean, comfortable bed, nicely decorated. There is also a dining table and a small seating area in the room. Very clean shared bathroom and kitchenette. With coffee and tea facilities and a microwave. Lidl is only a few 100 meters away. We could park our bicycles safely in the inner courtyard. The inner courtyard is private but not closed, so bring a small bicycle lock with you.
