The host is really friendly and was happy to see us. Check-in was smooth, and the room was newly refurbished. (It currently looks better than the pictures.)
The bed was comfy and had a nice pillow. The water pressure in the shower was perfect.

Although I was the only guest the landlord (Rainer) and his wife could not have been more helpful. Kirsten cooked two lovely evening meals (the venison was superb) and there was a great spread for breakfast.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The breakfast and dinner buffet is very good and well organized. Lots of things for kids including a large jumping castle/games area/pool. It's also right on the slopes WHEN there is snow.

Nice and clean apartment, with bed linnen and even a cup of coffee available when we arrived. Free use of the washing machine was a really nice bonus. Baby bed was ready for use.

We had a great stay at hotel Berghof. The room was spacious and clean. Superb breakfast and dinner with compliments to the chef! The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna was a bonus after a long walk. And the hosts were very kind.
Nice location on a hill, good breakfast, good dinner, staff was very friendly, room was spacious enough and very clean, very good shower: we enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely come back on our next trip to Willingen (the city centre of Willingen can be quite crowded by (german and flemish) tourists). Also nice hike options from the hotel.
It felt like a home. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans so cooking dinner was enjoyable. The couch was really comfortable to relax on after a long day of sauerland activities. The Meinecard plus is a great benefit it gives a lot of discounts/free entrances and is essentially a list of close by activities to go and do.
Great place to be with families. Surrounded by beautiful valleys and hills. Quiet and peaceful. The hotel has a kids play room, swimming pool, dinner buffet and great breakfast to offer. The Winterberg centrum is 25kms (around 30mins drive) from the hotel. The staff were polite and courteous.
