The property is very beautiful, it’s clean, cosy. Beautiful views of the alps. The food is good, maybe a bit more variety in the breakfast. The dinner menu always changed everyday and we looked forward to coming back to the hotel after a long day of skiing to a nice 3 course meal at the hotel.The main course is included in the room price, you can choose to get a starter and a desert. We had a great time, this just what you dream of in the Austrian Alps, quiet, cosy and friendly, with great service by the staff and excellent food. Originally we had planned to go out for dinner every night, but ended up staying eating deliciously in the hotel restaurant every single night. Highly recommended.
I rarely feel compelled to rate my stay unless it is exceptional and the Wachtelhof hotel is exactly that, exceptional. The hotel is beautifully done and the room is big and spacious. The staff is incredible and they go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The food is delicious and we ended up having dinner everyday at the hotel despite having the intention to try some other restaurants in the areas. We were here to ski and the location couldn’t be more perfect. The only regret is not staying longer.
