Hospitality: our hosts provided a late dinner when we arrived at a late hour from our 12h train journey and cycle ride. The next day, they invited us to make a free picnic at breakfast for our bike ride and gave us sandwich bags to put it in. This Guest house is outstanding. The host puts here heart into it and it really shows. Everything about our stay was exceptional. A really spacious chalet with private finnish sauna. Only 6km from the nearest ski lift. Super quiet, super comfy.

We have been in the similar Pension's in the area albeit more expensive, so based on the reviews we decided to give it a try despite the feeling that must me some catch considering the low price.
So the price is a good point for the rest it's just mediocre.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pension Frenzl - Kaiser von Österreich. The breakfast was phenomenal, featuring an extensive selection of dishes that surpassed anything I've encountered elsewhere. The room, especially the bathroom, was impeccably clean and beautifully appointed, with exceptionally comfortable beds ensuring a restful night's sleep. The owners were incredibly friendly. If you're planning a visit to Hermagor, this is by far the best accommodation in the area.
