Absolutely stunning view from our room. Honestly was breathtaking. We could see mountain sheep doing their crazy leaping around on the other side of the canyon. It was amazing. Room was great, restaurant was great, reception was great. Nothing bad to say.
The walk up the hill back to the hotel (if you go into the town )can be quite tiring but take it slow and enjoy the beautiful setting:)
HOSTAL LA PLAZA IRUYA is located in Iruya. The inn provides mountain views and a terrace. All guest rooms in the inn are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels.

Location is very good with views. The hosts were very accomodating.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
My wife has gone on and on about how much she loved the sheets and towels, were nice. Room was nice, quiet, restaurant and restaurant staff were very good, we ate dinner three times there, highly recommend.
Incredible views from the hotel, excellent dinner, even in the remote location that Iruya finds itself. The best option for a stay in Iruya and a very fair price overall.
