This lovely home stay property was one of the best quest houses I've ever stayed. Papa (man of the house) and Mama (his wife) were very sweet, nice, friendly and welcoming couple. Papa showed us to our room, brought us two bottles of water and shots of local Rakia. :) The room was very spacious and spottles clean with a huge terrace overlooking an amazing view across Kruje, with a view of the castle as well. The bed was comfortable and we had a very good night sleep. The bathroom was huge and clean with the toiletries also available. It wasn't en-suite, but shared one on the floor. This wasn't a problem as we were the only guests there at that time.
The Mama host was so welcoming and prepared a local Albanian breakfast. Huge selection we were offered would simply serve the whole family, not just the two of us. Homemade cake, bread, jams, a massive plate of vegetables, scrambled eggs - all came from their own garden.
Location is just on top of the hill where the hiking route that takes 1 hour on top of the mountain, starts.
In overall, it was an amazing experience and we loved it there. We actually called them if they had a room available the following evening (which they had), but at the end we decided to move closer to the airport.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Beautiful grounds with refreshing pool, loved by the kids. Handy family room with ample space. Delicious cooked breakfast each morning, served outside. Menu for drinks and dinner was varied and tasty as well , affordable. A bit further out from the busy city center as a great home base for day trips in and around the city. Grocery store very close by as well as a restaurant and market strip. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Everything was great, the apartment looked just as the pictures show you. It is in walkable distance to the city centre, coffee shops, great breakfast or dinner places. It was clean, the communication was fast (in english) and helpful.
Wonderful people and an instant feeling of familiarity and home as soon as you arrive. The surroundings of the hostel in and around the village are stunning. Each day there is a good complementary breakfast and a wonderful dinner for 600 lek. Wonderful stay
Beautiful location with walking distance to a lot of eatery and hangout places. The hotel has a lot of character with a lot of beautiful authentic paintings. The pictures on booking.com don't do the hotel and the rooms justice. Everything is very clean. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good with plenty of options and great coffee. I didn't try lunch and dinner meals there as I stayed only a couple of nights and had plans with friends and family. I will go back again.
Nita was a wonderful host with a good heart. I hurt my foot, and she went and got bandages and antiseptic. She also felt bad that I was in pain and asked me what I wanted for dinner. She went and picked up and paid for a meal and brought it to me.
Property and the location is very good. Very disappointing at the staff. Not helpful at all and everyone is smoking. people were smoking at the dinner and that is unacceptable any longer.
The beds and rooms available to us were very comfortable and spacious. We had access to a fridge, plates, cutlery and tea making facilities. We enjoyed eating our dinner on the balcony. The hosts were very friendly. The guest house was within walking distance from the intercity bus station and city centre.
