Shik Shack is situated on Orpen Road, 35km from Hoedspruit. It is perfectly established to explore the area from the Kruger (only 15min away!) to the Blyde River Canyon! Shik Shack offer unique accommodation from Traditionals Huts (Chalet) to Safari Tents to give you the best and truthful African Experience! Each room has 2 Single beds with warm & comfortable bedding and fresh towels are provided.. Your room is also furnished with mosquito nets, fans, storage and a bottle of water. With our Communal Bathroom and our Self-catering Kitchen, you will appreciate all the fundamental comforts, from a Hot shower to a Hot coffee. The included continental Breakfast is also available in our Self-catering Kitchen, so help yourself to some rusks or muesli, whichever you fancy! Our Common Area includes a lounge and a fire pit where you can gather around and enjoy the Bush-Tv (as we call “Fire” in the Lowveld) and/or use it as a braai (barbecue). Free Wi-Fi access is available in the public area. Guests can also enjoy a drink at the Bar or at our Outdoor Pool. Shik Shack is completely built from recycled materials, smart green building skills and/or donations.
