Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
The owners are the best hosts with. They are helpful in any way they can to give you the best experience in the bush they can. They also have a lot of knowledge. The food they make is also very good! The accommodation is very clean and very well maintained. We saw all kinds of wildlife on the property. In the evening around the fire with a good wine was a very nice place to talk about the experiences of the day. The hosts know a lot of people so they have good tips about which guide to hire for certain experiences in the area.
There were no pictures advertised for the actual villa that we booked, and were therefore fooled by the other rooms that were posted, the rooms were not to our expectation, and were not very clean.
The location in a private game reserve is excellent. It feels like the wild is just a step outside your door. It is an authentic bush holiday. There are animals roaming near the lodge throughout the day. The staff were amazing and paid special attention to every detail. Special mention goes out to David, the bartender, who always provided the best service with a smile. The rooms were very clean and the facilities are fantastic. Thornhill exceeded our expectations.
It is simple but very nice. It is also good to know that this is a project helping a lot of kids around the property. We are contributing to their community just for staying here. For us, it had the perfect location because it's very near to orpen gate. And everything was very clean. The staff was really helpful and nice. Thank you for everything!
Was here with my 11 year old son. We loved our stay. Great owners and staff! Everyone is friendly and helpful and it feels like home. Dinner is amazing, Momsie is a great cook. They also made a great veggie meal for my son. We extended our stay here to 3 nights. Cabins are lovely and in nature. At night hyena and buffalo were in the campsite🤩. I advise to do the bushwalk with Isaac and the gamedrive(or self-drive).

Bar and boma great for meals and sharing days adventures. Lynn and Brian will treat you like family, and arrange all safari and other outings.
It's a very peaceful place, the staff is very friendly and it's very clean. A great place to clear your mind and revive your creativity and remove artist block.
