Mountview apartment is situated in a quiet location, yet close enough to the city, highway and famous beaches Clifton and Camps Bay. It has wonderful views of Table Mountain and Signal Hill and is light and sunny. The spacious bedroom has an ensuite with walkin rainshower and frenchdoors, that lead from the bedroom onto a lovely , private terrace with views over part of the city. There is a small table with chairs for you to enjoy morning coffee or a sundowner' if you feel like staying home . The kitchenette is equippet with a 2 plate stove and microwave and has everything you would need. For your convinience we offer an inhouse laundryservice at a small charge. The sofacouch is comfortable enough for a third person or even 2 smaller children and our wifi is free, fast and uncapped .The TV offers Netflix and YouTube. There is a private garden for your own use with 2 comfortable sunloungers . The views are spectacular of both, Table Mountain and Signal Hill.
I am originally from Freiburg, a beautiful city in the south of Germany, but came to Cape Town many years ago through the hospitalty industrie. There I met and married my Michael, who was born and raised in Zimbabwe, a musician and artist , whose paintings I represent and sell along with 10 other artists in the centre of the City. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world and have ourselves travelled extensily. We both can offer a wealth of advice, where to eat well, without breaking the budget, which ones to go when you really want to spoil yourselves or which beaches , as there are many and all have something special to offer. We are at the foot of Table Mountain Nature Reserve with many beautiful walks, hikes and off road bikingtrails. Easy access from the property to both highways, yet far away to not be disturbed by them at all. A shopping Centre for all your needs is down the road, walking distance, but bear in mind we live up on the hill...
We have lived in this area all our married life, as it is peaceful, yet close to the city, the famous Campsbay and Clifton beaches as well as near the highway. It is a very treed and green area, as the house lies just underneath Table Mountain, which has many hikingtrails winding through indigenous flora and fauna. You can either connect with the path to the cable way or, for those fit enough , get all the way to the table. Its a great achievment ! There are three wonderful and popular restaurants just 200 meters down the road, one has attached to it a childrens playpark with an open terrace. It serves one of the best breakfasts around. The other two are so popular, that one often has to book to get a "foot in " the door. If the nightlife tempts you, catch an ueber taxi to famous Bree street . Its lined with great Cafe,s Bars and speciality restaurants ; definetevly worth a visit or two. Or hop on the MyCity bus, as there is a busstop very close by and has connectivity to the city and byond. Or you can walk , down the hill , passed the famous Mount Nelson Hotel and through the City Garden. It will lead you straight into the centre of town, a leisurley 20 Min.
