The hotel has a gracious colonial ambience. My room was large, attractively decorated, very comfortable with an interesting view. All the staff we dealt with were warm, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They were very helpful in locating and holding some clothing I left behind and having it ready for my son to pick up several weeks later.

Asian Tradition, French Flair and Growing Modernity
Offering a trip through delicious Vietnamese aromas, small silk shops and ancient pagodas, the streets of Ho Chi Minh City dazzle tourists with their vibrant atmosphere. Its rich culture includes beautiful French colonial palaces mixed with modern skyscrapers that show the power of Vietnam’s economic capital.
Whether you decide to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, or the Municipal Theatre, you’ll see the care shown by Saigonese people in preserving their historic legacy. On the other hand, the Haussmann-style boulevards are typically packed with small motorcycles that make every street crossing a whole new experience.
Contemporary Saigon can be seen in places like the Bitexco Financial Tower, located directly at central Ham Nghi Blvrd. Meanwhile, Saigon Centre or Zen Plaza are some of its modern shopping malls.
For a look into Vietnam’s recent history, don’t miss the Reunification Palace or the War Remnants Museum. A sunset visit to the 23rd September Park is the best way to mingle with the locals.
Indulge yourself in one of the 5-star Ho Chi Minh hotels, or stay in budget accommodation at Pham Ngu Lao Street. Don’t miss the Ho Chi Minh City accommodation deals on Booking.com before arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport!
First the people very friendly. Street atmosphere busy, exciting and a little challenging to cross the roads but after a day no issue. Watch out for scooters on the footpaths at peak times a little crazy.
The war remnants museum a must see.
If you are going to see the Cu Chi tunnels, be prepared, wear clothing that can get dirty, perhaps carry a spare top/shirt and covered shoes/ runners. Leave your backpack in the bus and carry a phone to use the light or a small pen torch. Cap would be handy to help prevent scrapes to the head.

Great tourist city.
Great tourist city. Lots of great activities, fabulous shopping, friendly people. Loved our stay. We did the river dinner cruise, watched the basket show at the Opera House and the water puppet show, took a cyclo ride around the city. Visited the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Pink Church. Unfortunately both were not open to the public.
Pizza 4Ps was excellent. Lotteria was terrible. Ben Nge Market had lovely food and drink.
Using Grab was very easy. We linked it to our card and so did not need to pay cash each time.

Ho Chi Minh is an eccelctic City with a mixture of luxury hotels, shops and restaurants, along with the local Vietnamese vibe of street food and markets.
A river boat tour along the Saigon river is a must, as well as a beverage on one of the many rooftop bars overlooking the City - night time is best when it's all lit up.
Try and catch a show at the Saigon Opera House - fantastic old building in the heart of the City!

I paid for a couple of things by credit card and I was told if I paid cash they would give me a discount but when I refused the discount and put the charges on credit card they charged me an additional 3% on top of the regular price. This is dishonest and not right. Also there were cock roaches in the room crawling up and down the walls. Also the A/C did not work very well and my room was over 80 degrees. All in all it was a terrible place to stay and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Heavy traffic. Beware of motorcyclists! They want to kill you on or off the street and on pedestrian crossings!
There was a very good restaurant near Ben Thanh market. Specialised in broken rice. Pricing was very good.

The hotel was well positioned in the middle of District 1. My room had a window and a small balcony that opened onto the street. However it was a very quiet space, considering the chaos of Ho Chi Minh City. The staff were all very kind, my room was impeccably clean, and very well furnished. The air conditioning worked well, the bathroom was large And the shower also functioned well.
Excellent location: the very center of Ho Chi Minh City (District 1) but thanks to the fact that the building is located in the courtyard - peace and quiet. In general, the noise of the big city didn't bother at all.
Cordial and helpful owner. He helped organize everything what was needed.
1. The hotel allowed me to check in at around 11:30pm to 12 midnight because i came from Cambodia.
2. The staff are respectful and friendly.
3. Near the bus stop of sleeper buses from Cambodia
4. near a park and has a nice view of the park and District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
