The location was central, although entering off a very busy road was not ideal. All other aspects of the hotel were excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Asian Tradition, French Flair and Growing Modernity
Offering a trip through delicious Vietnamese aromas, small silk shops and ancient pagodas, the streets of Ho Chi Minh City dazzle tourists with their vibrant atmosphere. Its rich culture includes beautiful French colonial palaces mixed with modern skyscrapers that show the power of Vietnam’s economic capital.
Whether you decide to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, or the Municipal Theatre, you’ll see the care shown by Saigonese people in preserving their historic legacy. On the other hand, the Haussmann-style boulevards are typically packed with small motorcycles that make every street crossing a whole new experience.
Contemporary Saigon can be seen in places like the Bitexco Financial Tower, located directly at central Ham Nghi Blvrd. Meanwhile, Saigon Centre or Zen Plaza are some of its modern shopping malls.
For a look into Vietnam’s recent history, don’t miss the Reunification Palace or the War Remnants Museum. A sunset visit to the 23rd September Park is the best way to mingle with the locals.
Indulge yourself in one of the 5-star Ho Chi Minh hotels, or stay in budget accommodation at Pham Ngu Lao Street. Don’t miss the Ho Chi Minh City accommodation deals on Booking.com before arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport!
We enjoyed the sights and sounds of the City. We do not care about the air pollution and the traffic noise of the motorcycles. It was difficult to cross streets due to there were no traffic lights for pedestrians.
We enjoyed the trip to the tunnels to witness the wartime Vietnamese defense strategy and apparatus.
We won't recommend the Mekong Delta trip. It was a 4-hour round trip drive, but there was not much to see except the candy factory and the channel ride and to hear some local singing and fruit tasting.

Great food, interesting sites and lots of tourist and traditional markets for everything you can think of. Walking around takes a bit of bravery and daring when it comes to crossing the streets, but you get used to it

HCMC is a very busy and exciting destination, especially for those on a mission seeking gastronomic diversity and the highest standards of culinary arts. It is a shoppers paradise, made the more attractive through the work of young fashion designers, thousands of market stalls and small specialist businesses. It boasts a high energy population that inspires interest and admiration for its enterprise and efficiency, but the people you meet are also characteristically honest, gracious and generous in their dealings with tourists.

Ho Chi Minh City (District 1) is great for food, shopping and just chilling. They have great coffee, both traditional and specialty. Takes a bit to get used to the busy roads with no clear pedestrian crossings but it's relative easy to navigate with Grab rides. Streets are narrow and lined with bikes and street stalls and can be uneven so make sure you have good footwear on and might not be too suitable for prams and toddlers. There are of course museums and attractions to be visited as well.

This is a very friendly and busy city with around 8 million motorbikes all on the road at the same time - watch out they even use the footpath! - crossing the road is a bit of a challenge :-)
Great for a short break but not many land mark sites to see - in my opinion 3/5 days is plenty.
The city feels safe day and night with plenty of restaurants and bars to visit.

A cosmopolitan city with extremely serious traffic.
A cosmopolitan city with extremely serious traffic.
The city center is very nice, with many places to visit, walk and eat. The local food is very tasty. Unfortunately the local people do not speak English or any language other than the local language and it is difficult to communicate....but if you like to discover the treasures of the places you visit on your own you will surely be able to here too as there is enough information on the internet which to help you and guide you to the most interesting places of this million-strong city / residents and tourists/. We had a wonderful 3-4 days. I recommend you to visit it.

Really excellent little hotel tucked away in the centre of district 1, only a 5 minute walk from the Opera House, City Hall and Square. The staff went out of their way to make us feel settled in and gave us a complementary cold drink on arrival (which was appreciated after our long journey!). Very clean and comfortable room that was nice and surprisingly quiet given the location,
The hotel's location is right in the heart of District 1, very convenient to explore the city, close to main attractions and shopping centers. My room is very spacious, has large windows, and has a beautiful view of the city.
For anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City, this hotel offers a prime location in District 1. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. Rooms and amenities are well-maintained, making it great value for the price.
A gem in District 1! This hotel is centrally located and makes exploring the city super easy. Staff is polite and willing to help with any questions. Amenities are just right for the price, offering great value.
