It's a nice place.
It's a nice place. People usually do not highlight Vinwonders Theme Park, but it's a great place for kids, mainly for the river safari, Giraffe, and bird feeding. Take the buggy option at Vinwonders, as it is a long walk; buy tickets from the official counters. Add a day or two extra to relax and do nothing but stroll the cute restaurants, cafes, beaches and markets. Do not miss the Memories show (closed on Tuesdays; try sitting in the theatre in the English section and the top row of the front zone). Try to be in Hoi An at the time of the full moon; the entire place is more magical.

Hoi An is a small city that has a great ambience, especially at night in the old town where hundreds of lanterns light up boats, cafes, shops and surrounds. Food is varied and tasty with many cafes and restaurants throughout the city and old town. It is easy to hire and ride by cycles around and beyond the city as traffic is usually not too busy. A visit to the Coconut village and a trip on the river in a round boat is a must. Hoi Ans old buildings, especially the French- styled, are impressive. Shopping is also worthwhile as you can have lanterns, shoes and clothing made to order and completed very quickly! Hoi An is a great place to visit!

We absolutely loved staying in Hoi An and wished we could have stayed longer. As someone who is working in Hanoi for several months, it was so nice to get out of the city. Hoi An is truly enchanting! We did a family-run tour with Mr. Cu, which was phenomenal. We also enjoyed making our own lanterns in a class. So many good food options and lots of fun shopping to be had. Definitely add Hoi An to your Vietnam itinerary!

Hoi An is beautiful and a haven for tourists.
Hoi An is beautiful and a haven for tourists. One has to be okay with crowds of tourists to be happy in Hoi An old town and the surrounding areas.
We found the town to be easy to navigate and beautiful. We travelled to the My Son ruins with ease and the trip from Danang airport was simple. There are many tailor shops (I think I read 500) so this can be a little overwhelming. If one wants to browse in shops, or even glance into a shop, expect much attention from the owners.
It was a beautiful base for a few days.

If you’ve had enough of the manic Asian cities, then Hoi An is a real gem. Old town is absolutely stunning, day or night, with quirky little shops holding almost everything and food - you will certainly need a long holiday to try it all. Da Nang is only a $15 taxi fare away, if you really need to top up on traffic and nightclubs, but My Khe beach in Da Nang is a must do as well.

We stayed at the hotel a little bit less than a week. We are traveling as a family of 5 including 2 young children.(2 and 4).
We had a great time. The location is ideally placed between the old town and the beach. The room is fine, breakfast is great and overall this is amazing value.
Special mention to the staff with whom the kids and my non English speaking father connected alot. They really took great care of us.
10/10 would do again
maybe the best hotel i ever stayed in vietnam. The food is really good. pool is refreshing. 50m to beach. staff was really helpful and the hotel is very tidy. the receptionist recommended an experienced local tailor who helped us make the nice suit and dress at good price. you can rent scooters or book tours/transportation tickets with cheaper price than that in the old town.
We really loved staying there. All of the staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to make our stay superb, organising trips out and transfers from the hotel. Special thanks to Kim. We all loved Hoi an. Close to the beach. $2 to $3 taxi to Hoi an old town. Great to ride the bikes. Definitely recommend going there and staying at KA Villa.
Excellent resort just outside of the old town in Hoi An. Breakfast is the best Ive had in Vietnam, service was outstanding with great recommendations for our family, the rooms were very comfortable. The pools were fabulous to escape the heat. Loved everything about this hotel.
a boutique hotel in quiet area, a lot of details in the decor and furniture. the team has put in a lot of effort to keep the place in perfect condition. love their vintage postman bikes, we cycling around to explore the old town, paddy fields and beaches. thank you ❤️
