The best hotel we stayed in Vietnam. A few steps from the historic center of Hoi An, it is quiet, clean and well maintained. It has all the amenities one needs, the rooms are spacious and with lots of natural light, lots of windows but you have your privacy at the same time.
The water pressure in the bathroom is perfect, the staff is very friendly and efficient, they helped us book tours and transportation to Da Nang. The pool looked pretty clean and maintained, but we didn't get a chance to use it as we weren't in Hoi An for long. We liked everything overall and will definitely come back when we are back in Hoi An.

Beautiful City
There is a lot to do, so prioritise what you like and don't fall prey to Instagram hype.
Alsahar Villa was an amazing stay.
The Lantern Boat ride was stunning, there are a lot of places to eat around that.
Avoid shopping in that area though, it's costly.
do take a 2-wheeler and drive down to Danang. It was fun.

We stayed in Hoi An for three nights which was exactly the right amount of time, perhaps even slightly too long. Though it is beautiful, we found it a bit too touristy. The same shops offer the same kinds of merchandise and it feels really focused on selling, selling, selling, rather than having any kind of authentic, interesting experience. It is still worth seeing for the lovely river views and to have a chance to experience the world-class tailoring!

So much history!!
Need at least 4 to 5 days here to experience it all.
Have a beautiful meal by the river & watch the colourful lanterns & candles light up the night
Absolutely beautiful experience.
A must see for anyone.

It's a nice place.
It's a nice place. People usually do not highlight Vinwonders Theme Park, but it's a great place for kids, mainly for the river safari, Giraffe, and bird feeding. Take the buggy option at Vinwonders, as it is a long walk; buy tickets from the official counters. Add a day or two extra to relax and do nothing but stroll the cute restaurants, cafes, beaches and markets. Do not miss the Memories show (closed on Tuesdays; try sitting in the theatre in the English section and the top row of the front zone). Try to be in Hoi An at the time of the full moon; the entire place is more magical.

Hoi An is a small city that has a great ambience, especially at night in the old town where hundreds of lanterns light up boats, cafes, shops and surrounds. Food is varied and tasty with many cafes and restaurants throughout the city and old town. It is easy to hire and ride by cycles around and beyond the city as traffic is usually not too busy. A visit to the Coconut village and a trip on the river in a round boat is a must. Hoi Ans old buildings, especially the French- styled, are impressive. Shopping is also worthwhile as you can have lanterns, shoes and clothing made to order and completed very quickly! Hoi An is a great place to visit!

We absolutely loved staying in Hoi An and wished we could have stayed longer. As someone who is working in Hanoi for several months, it was so nice to get out of the city. Hoi An is truly enchanting! We did a family-run tour with Mr. Cu, which was phenomenal. We also enjoyed making our own lanterns in a class. So many good food options and lots of fun shopping to be had. Definitely add Hoi An to your Vietnam itinerary!

Our stay at Little Oasis was great, the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Chloe was the main staff member I dealt with and she was fantastic. Always willing to lend a hand! Overall I could not fault our experience, although the location was a little bit of travel to Old Town, the Hotel provided free shuttle buses to both Old Town and the beach which were very frequent. Although our stay was short, it was one to remember. Thank you all for making my family feel at home!
Our room upstairs was huge with a balcony overlooking the pool. Really comfy beds. Our kids had a room downstairs with a bathroom open to the outside (still private & had a bath). Big clean pool. Good location, about 10 mins walk over the bridge to the old town. Standard breakfast options (had to order the night before) but plenty of it. We used the free bikes to cycle to the beach through the countryside. Lovely family run hotel
Absolutely outstanding. One of the best hotels and service we have received. Amazing value for money
Staff friendly and great.
Very clean and great breakfast
Location amazing between beach and old town. Easily walkable or use the hotels free bikes
Loads of outstanding restaurants within five minutes
Staff booked our bus to Nha Trang and also helped with everything.
BRILLIANT
I loved that we were half way between old town and the beach. It was a wonderful place to unwind at the end of our Vietnam holiday. The hotel was clean and well looked after with a lovely pool. Being able to hire bikes and ride around past beautiful homes, the river and stopping wherever we felt for food and drinks was amazing. Great accommodation, fully recommend!
It had a family like atmosphere and I enjoyed that it was quiet but still super close to the old town (5min) as well as the beach (20min) and rice fields (10min) by bike. The design of the hotel and the rooms was super pretty.
