My corner room was huge. I love the vintage feel of the property and the tile in the bathroom. I liked that there were many cool restaurants etc and the area and it was easy to access the Metro. Staff was very nice. More laid back LA style.

The fan which was for circulating the air had lots of dust on it, meaning that we were practically breathing the dust in , which was really disappointing. Also the breakfast was very simple compared to the same level hotels we have been before.

The room was very clean and the a/c was quiet. The last hotel I stayed at the a/c was so loud I could not sleep and had to turn it off, which made for a very uncomfortable experience.

I liked that this place was in a really quite area (though the street looked a bit sketchy to walk around), the kind staff and simple yet clean room! The first time I arrived at the hotel I got a bit disappointed by how the hotel looked because the price wise it was definitely not one of those cheap motels but it looked like one. However, once you enter the room it’s not that bad and comfortable enough to stay at :) My family and I loved the part where we can use the parking lot for free since most of the hotels charges you $50-80 for parking per day. The hotel is pretty close to Beverly Hills, Universal Studios, Dodger Stadium and etc…! If you’re traveling to LA for vacation and traveling with a car, def recommend this hotel!!

Exploring Los Angeles, the place where movies are made, you feel like you’re in a dream. Santa Monica Pier is the end point of the fabled Route 66, while just south is bohemian Venice Beach, lined by tall, swaying palms. Go slightly inland from the boardwalk to catch a glimpse of the canals that earned the area its name.
Head north to the golden beach and stunning scenery of Malibu and see why movie stars over the decades have settled here. Also popular with the rich and famous are Bel Air and Beverly Hills, home to exclusive Rodeo Drive.
And the reason for all this glitz and glamour? Hollywood, of course! Sitting high on a hill, the iconic sign is visible for miles around, while below the gold stars on Hollywood Boulevard immortalize celebrities of past and present. Be there on premiere night to see them grace the red carpet of Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
Over the hill is Universal Studios, with behind-the-scenes tours as well as rides. Next door are the Warner Brothers Studios, and Paramount Studios are closer to Downtown LA.
Whether you decide to live like a star in a luxury LA hotel or choose a cheap motel through Booking.com, it’s worth renting a car to get around this sprawling city and out to Los Angeles Airport (LAX).
There is nothing I mike. Everything is very expensive and creepy. Just outside the touristy place is very scary. The public transportation is dirty, long and filled with creeps. But that’s the cheapest you can find. Just like in any big cities.

Nice but expensive city.
Nice but expensive city. Friendly and helpful people all around. Hotels could have had more supportive staff though. Also Tom Bradley waiting area was too cold, could do better with a little heating. I think I’d also have loved warm or hot milk served in place of cold milk to accompany hot coffee/tea served in hotels.
Visited Hollywood-not too bad but I think it’s kind of overrated as there weren’t so much of attractions there save for the Mountain with the Hollywood written on it for Tourists to have their photos taken.
On my next visit I’d avoid buying the natural fruit juice sold in Hollywood-pretty heavily diluted with little or no taste.

We loved Universal Studios.
We loved Universal Studios. We managed to a two for one ticket and visited twice. Great for kids of all ages. It was easy to navigate LA due to the metro. Buy a $5 ticket and that is all it costs for a day. No mater how many changes you make. We visited many places by metro, including Universal Studios, (25 miles from Santa Monica). It takes time but, as the metro runs mostly on the road you can look ate the different districts as you pass through. The Getty museum is easy to get to but requires a mile walking or a taxi, otherwise all attractions are within the metro.

First advice - Never, ever go there with a pregnant lady.
First advice - Never, ever go there with a pregnant lady. It's hard to walk around, gets crowded here and there, and what could have been a great trip, became a nightmare.
The city is huge and you'll need a car to see the most and best of it.
The people were amazing, very polite and cheerful - way better than described by previous visitors.
LA is not a city, is many cities together, so be prepared to drive around all day. Maybe take a day for each "city" so it becomes a cool experience, and not a stress trying to cover all bases in a short period of time.
Count in the time you'll waste in traffic - this is crucial, and plan to go against it - leave town in the morning, come back by the end of day and you'll be good.
Best street art I've seen - LA won
Go outside LA, there's plenty to see like Huntington beach and many others. It's worthy

We booked for 4 nights which is probably one too many when you are engaged on a longer tour of the USA. LA is however a fantastic place to visit, especially at the Coast and I would recommend it to anyone

A very nice hotel with big rooms, a swimming pool and a spa. Our room was big with a massive TV and refrigerator. The beds were very comfy. The location is close to the LAX airport and far from Downtown Los Angeles. That’s wasn’t an issue for us as we rented a car from nearby the airport. The staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast that was served was excellent. And there are plenty of shops nearby. We enjoyed our stay and we definitely would stay over again.
Perfect spot in Hollywood and a beautiful hotel. Clean, modern and spacious. Had the Hollywood Sign View Room which was amazing, with a proper view of the sign.
It’s right next to the Ovation Mall and the Hollywood Walk of Fame so was extremely convenient for us.
As expected it wasn’t cheap but that was not surprising given the area.
Overall not one thing to complain about!
Excellent location in the heart of Hollywood. Close to everything. Big Target 300m from the hotel. Walking distance to Hollywood walk of fame. Very nice pool area and a big was free parking in central Los Angeles.
The breakfast was ok, the eating area was nice. Parking was convenient, a parkade is right behind the hotel. It was cheaper to pay for the spot through the parkade than what it says through the hotel.
+ the Guy was very nice and helpfull
