The location was PERFECT! It's within the loop, so it's close to the trains and buses. As well as a lot of attractions. The hotel itself was great. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and I love how they provided empty bottles you can fill up as you had out. My son can't stop talking about the hotel. I definitely will stay here again when I visit Chicago.

FAQs about hotels in Chicago

Our Kind of Town

Standing proud beside Lake Michigan, Chicago is down-to-earth, friendly, and full of culture. It has outdoor art by famous artists including Chagall and Picasso, and there are some fascinating architectural works from the Art Institute of Chicago.

Home to blues and house music, Chicago has an eclectic music scene that reflects its spirit. The Windy City is also a pioneer in a variety of Americanized dishes from it's European immigrant roots like deep-dish pizza and the Chicago hot dog.

The world’s first skyscraper and Ferris wheel were erected in Chicago. The latter, on Navy Pier, is one of the Midwest’s most visited sights. Also famed is the ‘L’ transport system, whose raised trains circle The Loop, the main business district. Check out its skyline reflection in the shiny bean sculpture in huge Millennium Park.

Home of the Bulls and Bears, Chicago is a stronghold of sport and has teams playing baseball, basketball, American football and hockey, to name a few. If you get a chance, try to catch a game.

Chicago Midway and Chicago O’Hare Airport are both on the outskirts of this vast city, so make sure to leave enough time for travel from your Booking.com hotel, apartment or hostel. And all that jazz.

I was several times in Chicago - but always for business in midwinter. Now for the first time in summer and with plenty of time - what a tremendous, wonderful city. Full of life, youth, culture, hospitality. Beautiful and clean - at least in the center. Expensive for Europeans - but this is presently a fact all over the US.

Chicago was an amazing city, river walk is an excellent way to explore the city, transportation specially the L train is a good way to go around the city and it's cheap. Only thing is the subway station signs are poor, very hard to find the station for new people.

Chicago is a fabulous city but I found it very expensive (...

Chicago is a fabulous city but I found it very expensive (doesn't help converting the Canadian dollar to USD). Leave the car at the hotel and get a CTA pass for "The L". It takes a while to get used to the lines and how to navigate "The Loop" but it's the best deal in town. Being above ground you can even use it for sightseeing. We ate at Millers Pub. Tremendous liver and onions (amongst others). Pricey but worth it. We attended a soccer game at Soldier Field and a ball game at Wrigley. A great time was had by all. The architectural boat tour is a great way to see all of the amazingly divese architecture.

The hop on hop off bus tour was totally worth it.

The hop on hop off bus tour was totally worth it. Beautiful view from the upper deck. The DEARBORN RESTAURANT best fish fry ever. The evening dinner cruise overpriced great fireworks. We only stayed a weekend and it was full of fun. Oh and the HOUSE OF BLUES is great place for food and dessert. Gotta get the bread pudding YUM...ART INSTITUTE perfect for quiet art displays and gift shopping. The Magnificent Mile is okay for high-end store's but STATE Street is a bargain hunters dream with Nordstrom Rack and a sea of shoes! Chicago is my kinda town!

    Absolutely amazing city.

Absolutely amazing city. We loved the fact that we could get everywhere we needed by transit. Downtown is very walkable and friendly. We enjoyed the Riverwalk at sunset and some margaritas at the CocoBar. The Willis Tower was an incredible experience for us and the family. We had some must have authentic deep dish pizza at Lou Malnatis in River North, and many other favorites of Chicago. The best part for us was being able to see a game at Wrigley field. Our boys enjoyed the playground at Millennium Park, as well as the famous bean. Our boys fell in love with the city and have asked to move there.

Excellent Hotel downtown directly on the corner of Michigan Avenue (magnificent Mile). Hotel is very clean and comes with the typical standard equipement you expect form a Hotel in that class. The rooms are not totally new but very clean and in a very well kept shape. Extremely nice staff and service. Location is great in downtown Chicago. Grand station on the red line is only a couple of minutes walk away; the river is about 5 minutes and the Navy Pier is about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool on the 17th floor that is open long hours (6am-10pm). I was fortunate to have a room on that floor and so I made good use of it. I never had to wait long for the lifts.
