The hotel location is bad due to the blockade of the road from 10am to 9 pm, for which we have to ask someone to carry our bags from the main road to the hotel which is really reticulous and surprising to all of us even though the hotel is located in the old city ,sultan Ahmed district which is historical and amazing but the blockade of the road to the hotel made our experience bad unfortunately

The room was neat and tidy. The breakfast was great, plenty to choose from very fresh and filling. I would have to say the outdoor Bistro area is a great place to sit and relax, enjoy a beer and a snack. The locals in the town centre are great, always friendly and willing to help when asked, even when trying to find a rival business. It was only 90TL in a taxi to get there to explore.

The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendour and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.
Take a stroll through the historic centre or the bustling Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.
If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.
Getting to Istanbul is an easy trip from Ataturk International Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel on the Asian side or a budget hostel in Taksim Square, Booking.com has over 1,000 great accommodations for your holiday in Istanbul.
Istanbul is a fantastic city. We were in summer, it was hot, there was a crowd, but we still enjoyed every moment. Public transportation is great and cheap, there are long lines at the monuments, but you don't have to wait long because everything is well organized.
I loved that there are cats and dogs everywhere, and Turkish people don't hurt them, on the contrary, they take care of them. The city is very lively, bustling, huge. There are long distances, but it is worth walking a lot, because you can always discover something interesting along the way. You must also go to the Asian side, because it is not so tourist-centric, and therefore has a completely different atmosphere.
What I didn't like: in a place full of tourists, the vendors and restaurateurs are a bit pushy. And finally, it's hard to bear the amount of garbage everywhere.

Istanbul is an incredible city to visit.
Istanbul is an incredible city to visit. The people are friendly and my family of four always felt safe - although there are warnings about pickpockets especially in the crowded bazaars. Shop-keepers can be pushy so you need to prepared to ignore them as you walk past. The food was great (try a food tour). Old Town is the main attraction (can pretty much walk everywhere) although the New Town is a good place to walk around for quieter shops and restaurants. The Asian part of Istanbul is mainly residential - worth a visit for maybe 1/2 day. We hired a private boat tour - well worth it. We were also able to hire someone for the day to take us around Old Town for $250 - do that early on to get bearings and the guide can help you get into the main sights while missing the lines. Great place to buy leather goods (haggle over prices - few things in the bazaars have prices on them). Turkish delight in Istanbul is very different to Turkish delight you can buy at home! Make sure taxis use their meters.

We did a lovely walking tour and secret food tour.
We did a lovely walking tour and secret food tour. Learned a lot about the food and history. The bit that was a disappointment was that it feels that the city is trying to rip off tourists. We paid $9 for a small ice cream and later paid less that £1 for the same size at a local shop. Taxi drivers try and take advantage of tourist. People in restaurants and at the grand bazaar keep on following you to try and convince you to go into their shop. Istanbul can be a fantastic destination but they will need to do something that give tourists space to make their own choices

Contrary to what we had been informed the locals except a few exceptions were decent and warm. Quite a historic place and modern outlook. Lira is not stable and there are always conversion related woes. Preferably take some cash in lira and some in euro and get your credit card enabled for turkey before you fly out. Buy a tourist pack from Vodafone at airport and you are good for a couple of weeks. Don’t fall prey to the tourist plans like Bosporus boat cruise which is 3 hours of going up and down the river in boats with cramped plastic chairs. Dinner cruise is a good experience from the shows view point. Stay near city center and Istiklal street comes alive with buzz and cafes everywhere. Vegan options are limited and you may get frustrated after a while. Don’t take cab from inside the airport since they charge double of what a hotel arranged shuttle will charge.
The royal bosphorus hotel has the perfect location in Istanbul, at 10 minutes from Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Topkapi Palace... and the prices are really cheap.
And the services from the employees are amazing. Special thanks to Fatih who has been amazing, helping us to contact hospitals to get tested in this specific context of covid 19. Always smiling and ready to help you, what a team !
Your service was awesome guys!

I always stay in this hotel because of experience staff who are working in this hotel I have to mention and thanks first ms nazly she is an excellent experience person in management team. Also the reception staff yousif at night and bushra at morning. The cleaning staff. Within my staying time I feel I been home and treat it perfectly which normally except for a 5 stars hotel. I diffidently recommend this Ramada hotel to anyone want to be enjoying and feel the best hospitality in Istanbul
This property is one of the bestest hotels to stay at Istanbul. The best part of this hotel is the owner himeself Fuad. He was exceptional with his services and he cared for us way too much. Every other time he was present to cater us. The rooms are newly renovated and clean. Washrooms are superb clean and all the facilities are there which are in 5 star hotel. I had a great trip and thank you Taksim Larissa for making it a memorable one. My next visit will be sure this hotel again.
This is my second visit to this hotel. I feel like I am at home. It is extremely clean and all the employees are friendly without exception. I have visited many hotels in Istanbul and it is one of the top 10 hotels for me in Istanbul.
The wellness and spa center is wonderful and comfortable, and all its employees are from East Asia and professionals. They have an Italian restaurant on the last floor with a panoramic view of the Bosphorus Strait. I recommend visiting it.
Regards ,
Location the best! Staff welcome, helpfull and friendly. Excellent restaurant on the rooftop. Views from the rooftop of Istanbul - the Bridge! Close to all the major tourist attractions. Modern, like 5 star hotel!.
