MOM Mateus On Modular is a unique and familiar accommodation with direct and independent access to the outside. Entirely built in wood in a modern and sustainable style, it is surrounded by fruit trees; It comprises living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom fully equipped (ceramic hob, microwave oven, combined fridge, hand blender, toaster, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, iron) and air conditioned (air conditioning). With a porch where you can enjoy the sunset. It has free Wi-Fi access, cable TV and a tree-lined outdoor space to relax outdoors. Parking is free private. It does not have public transport. This accommodation is multifunctional, you can have the isolation for relaxation, but with easy and quick access to the outstanding natural and built heritage sites.
Located on the outskirts of Vila Real, 4.5km from the historic center, it is part of the lands of the former Counts of Mateus, with the Mateus Palace at 1500m and the track of the International Automobile Circuit of Vila Real at 300m, and close to the Douro (world heritage). Guests can takethe car rides through the Douro river region and the mountains, Marão and Alvão mountains. Places to visit – you can go through several itineraries that are relatively close: – Baroque Tour Nicolau Nasoni - Mateus Palace, Church of S. Pedro, Church of Clérigos, Chapel of Sra da Pena. - Romanesque and Gothic itinerary – Gaudalupe Chapel, Vila Real Cathedral, Misericordia Church, Folhadela Church, Diogo Dão House. -Contemporary script (Pritzer Prizes) – Espaço Miguel Torga (architect Eduardo Souto Mora) and Quinta do Portal (architect Álvaro Siza Vieira). - Tour of popular architecture – village of Ermelo, Vilarinho da Samardã, Fojo do lobo. - Guided pedestrian trail - Circular trail “Lands of Maria Boa: from the Neolithic to the present day”, unites Justes and Lamares and allows a journey of 5000 years (15km). - Thermal leisure – Pedras Salgadas (40km) and Vidago (55km) Public Equipment: Vilal Real Airfield – 4 km Francisco Sá Carneiro International Airport - 99Km Nearest restaurants – less than 500m away: Restaurante Convívio and Casa Coelho Mall -1 km University – 2km Trucking center -5 km Viewpoint over the Douro River – S.
