Lamego was lovely. Rooms, facilities and restaurant was excellent.
No response to emails prior to arrival, and check in was difficult (we arrived late). Confirmation did not advise if the restaurant was going to be open. The dining room was open and the food and service was very good. It would have helped if we knew in advance the restaurant was going to be serving. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel facilities are amazing: great spa, great massage and a very nice pool. Definetly somewhere to stay for resting while enjoying the wineries and good food around. The restaurant in the hotel is also very good and the staff is one of the best i've seen in my whole life. Great people, great facilities and great food. Definetly recommend it.

We had a two night stop just outside Lamego mid September, perfect for us. There are enough things to see and do for this period of time including a museum. Unfortunately this was closed during our stay. Thursday appears to be a market day and pretty traditional. The highlight of this city is Santuario de Nossa Senhora dos Remedios. Get ready for some exercise!

We have been travelling for many years and staying through booking.com. Our hosts Jorge and Isobel were simply wonderful and made our 4 day stay in the Douro valley just the best part of our trip. They were welcoming, generous and shared so much hospitality with us. We highly recommend Quinta do Apriceste to anyone travelling to the Douro to make the best of their holiday!

A beautiful town.
A beautiful town. A great location for exploring the Duro valley. Very good food, especially the Tapas resturants (they know how to cook and present very good food). Very friendly and helpful people. Some lovely local shops.

Breakfast was very good with extremely helpful staff. Hotel really clean and well maintained. Bed very comfortable. No balcony chairs so could not sit out but this was fine for us. Not the most modern hotel but very nice. Really easy flat walk into town. Would stay again.
Everything was clean, breakfast food was fresh, well presented and delicious. The pool and spa were exceptional. It even has an indoor parking!! Great hotel, would highly recommend it. A little oasis in the Lamego wine region. Loved, loved it!!
Our stay at 6/4 de Lamego was great. The room was compact and cosy, the bed and pillows were the most comfortable during our stay in Portugal. The breakfast was simple but everything we needed was there. All in all, I highly recommend this place.
Our stay was incredible staying at this very old wine yard in the middle of the Douro Valley so authentic. This is not a hotel this is an old family house where you are invited and treated as you are a part of the family!
