Fox Cottage is situated at the beginning of Fox Peak Ski Field Road. It's location offers panoramic views of the Two Thumb mountain range as well as access to the North Opuha river and the North Opuha Conservation area. With 3 ski fields in the area and Lake Opuha only a short drive, Fox Cottage is the ideal location for those who are interested in tramping, mountain biking, skiing, fishing or for anyone who would like to experience life on a Mackenzie Country High Country Station. Due to the remote location guests will be assured a quiet and private holiday. Access to the farm is permitted. The hosts can offer advice on walks or mountain bike tracks over the farm.

Hello, may I ask which package that matches us the most? We consist of 4 adults and 3 kids (age 12, 10 and 5). We're planning to visit on 25 June until 27 June 2020. Also, will the road be covered in snow and will it be easy for us to drive? Thank you for your kind attention
Hello, thank you for your question. I am unsure what you mean by which package matches you the most? The dates you requested are available at this stage. I can't be sure if there will be snow at that time. We get snow every year, however I can't be sure of exactly when we will get it. We are situated on a gravel road, however the roads are easy to drive on and you will be fine to drive on them if you drive carefully as they can be slippery in the mornings and evenings as it will be particularly cold at that time of the year. Your rental company will give you more advice on how you should manage a vehicle during the winter months and they should give you a 4wd which will handle the road conditions.
