You will stay in a private home with the homeowners. The property is a newly built two story townhouse meeting modern insulation standards. The advertised bedroom is located on the first floor with views to the Wallaceville Reserve. Please note that the building does not have an elevator and that the first floor can only be accessed via stairs. The bathroom is shared with the homeowners and not available between 6:00am and 6.30am in the morning on working days. Outside these hours guests have prioritised access to the bathroom. Use of kitchen can be negotiated for light cooking only.
We are a couple of working professionals (no children or pets) who are keen travellers and enjoying the New Zealand outdoors. We strive to provide other travellers a peaceful place to rest and relax during their journey through Aotearoa. Cleanliness is important to us, so you can expect clean and tidy spaces while you stay with us.
Wallaceville Estate is a new development in Upper Hutt close to train stations and Upper Hutt town centre. Guests will appreciate the peaceful and safe neighbourhood, and proximity to popular tourist spots such as Brewtown or Kaitoke (Rivendell), a location known from the Lord of the Ring movies.
