Is there a shuttle available to get to the closest beach nearby? What are the other transportation options?
There are several beaches near Asilah, all within walking distance. The nearest is at 300 meters that is just outside the Medina wall. Then next beach is just beyond the seaport that is at about 600 meters. There are other beaches farther on along following the seafront walkway at 800 meters, etc. There are lovely beaches only 3.4 km to the north of Asilah (direction Tangier) at Breich, only 5 minutes by car. There is also an extraordinary beach to the south (direction Larache) called Paradise Beach (also known as Las Cuevas or Palomas) at 7.5 km or 21 minutes by car. The house guardian (Said) can arrange a Petit Taxi or the local animal cart that many locals use to arrive at these 2 beaches.Answered on 20 October 2019Is your private beach next to the property or do I need to use a means of transportation to go there?
There is a private beach on the other side of the Medina wall but you must exit the Medina walking and come around to the back of the Medina wall to enjoy this beach. It's only 300 meters in distance but you must walk about 800 meters to access it.Answered on 29 November 2019How can I get to the closest beach from the property?
The closest beach is only 300 meters from my house but as the house is inside the Medina walls, it is necessary to exit the walls at the Medina gate near the port. Then you would walk along the wall back to the beach. This would take about 10-15 minutes.Answered on 20 October 2019
