Right next to Ward Place and Horton Place. Grandfather built this place in the 80s with dark wooden ceilings and furniture. Cleanliness is a great priority, as is our love for the environment. Soft pillows and spacious beds make this the perfect place to relax and unwind when you're in town.
Colombo native- went to school just right around the corner. Then 7 years in Vancouver, Canada. Now I teach English at the public library, help organize community events. I walk and take a lot of public transport all over Colombo. I can show you how to move around in Sri Lanka like a local.
We're right in the heart of the city, with plenty of buses and tuks close by. Viharamadevi park and Independence square are 20 minute walks away through the lovely Gregory's road. Close to lots of cafes, a great Japanese and Italian restaurant in Ward place. Walking north takes you to busy Borella junction with pavement sellers and bustling tea kadays. The museum is also worth a visit, a large magnificent old house in the middle of a large lawn.
