  • On the main page for the property it is suggested that a 2 person room is $325 AUD (30,535 yen) total each night night, but on the reservation screen it instead suggests that it is $325 per person each night, making it double the price. Which of these is correct?

I can't check the screen, but 30,535 yen is probably the price for one room. If two people share a room, the price remains the same.

Property information

This accommodation facility is a Buddhist temple. You can feel and touch genuine Japanese traditional culture in this temple, Sainan-in. Surely, it is available for you to join in a morning prayer, copying calligraphy, doing meditation, and chatting with a monk in English. The principal image of this temple is Atavaka (guardian deity). A portrait of this buddha is not open for public but we monks pray for happiness to everyone, national security and world peace to Atavaka on special days in one years. We appreciate you behave appropriately in the temple, and hope you enjoy your stay.

Neighbourhood information

Koyasan has been recognized as a world heritage since 2004. Since then, many international guests has visited here. There are many interesting spots that you can see such as Okunoin, Garan-complex, and Kongobuji, a headquarter temple. Definitely, you can feel something holy and spiritual in these spots. We appreciate you behave appropriately because you can see monks in training and believers in prayer here in Koyasan. Most of restaurants and souvenir shops are located in the central area of the town.
