Situated among spiritual mountains with a rich history, Hagurokan offers traditional Japanese-style guest rooms in a historic building. Haguro Pagoda, one of Japan’s National Treasures, is a 20-minute drive away. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. JR Tsuruoka Station is a 35-minute bus ride away and Shonai Airport can be reached within a 40-minute drive. Hagurosan Ski Resort is a 10-minute drive from the property. Featuring tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding, each air-conditioned room comes with facilities like TV and electric kettle. A low table and cushions are provided in the seating area. Bathroom is shared with other guests. Hagurokan provides free luggage storage, and guests can use internet PCs and a printer in the lobby. Guests with a meal-inclusive plan can savour homemade Japanese dishes prepared with local ingredients.
