The chances are quite good if the skies are clear and the lights are active. This small town has little light pollution and many of our guests have been able to watch them from the house or from the beach in front (to get a better view to the North direction). When looking for the Northern lights you need clear skies, favorable sun activity, patience ... and some luck. You never know for certain where they might pop-up or at what time. Please excuse the late reply. Generally we have some snow over Christmas in this area.
