1) Central location - about 1-1.5 km from the City center that houses all Restaurants and Bus Stand. Calm, quiet and peaceful locality surrounded by household and a safe looking place.
2) Room - Spacing, Bedding, Chairs, Table are all ok. Quality of Toiletries are ok. Would be good if the Washing Machine is kept in working condition, especially when we stay more than 2 nights.
3) Provision of Water & Breakfast - Good arrangements; Local, homemade Breakfast was provided. It was good, healthy and tasty and not overpowering. Also, Tea / Coffee provided - ok quality. Water - Packaged Water is provided; also, Water filter is available on the 2nd floor pantry, from which one can fill up required water.
4) Service - Full time attendant is available and also a helper. They do a good & quick job and available throughout to attend to any issue and ad-hoc requirements, as well. They can also arrange for Cab, Food, etc.

It's a great place for anybody who is from the plains.
It's a great place for anybody who is from the plains. This is a hilly area, it is neat. And clean it is very green and the people are nice. There is a lot to see there's a lot to buy and it's all pretty unique in itself. And if one is coming from a metro city, then it would be quite a bliss, the main Madikeri areas .

Nice place nestled in nature.
Nice place nestled in nature. The places to see are constantly repeated in most travel web sites and blogs. The highlight was the visit to the golden temple at Kushalnagar and the drive to talacauvery temple. Raja seats was crowded, so was the market. The weather was mostly pleasant. Would recommend a two day stay to see everything in Madikeri as well as Kushalnagar. Don’t forget to indulge in local cuisine while at Madikeri from Coorg Cuisine .

Madikeri is a great place to be laid back and chill out.
Madikeri is a great place to be laid back and chill out. It is a good escape from city environments and plan to stay for 1 day if single or couple or a couple of days if a group, in case you already visited the tourist spots. If you have not, you can cover it all in a maximum of 3 days, unless you wish to relax more.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Madikeri
I have stayed in various hotels and resorts including Taj, Radisson, swissotel, intercontinental to name a few. But Coorg wilderness resort outshines all of it. The word excellent is insufficient to describe the resort. The best highlights are the location, food including dinner and breakfast. Also to note the staff are highly trained, kind and the best I have come across so far.
I have to agree Paul John resorts have maintained excellent quality in all aspects.
I stayed in suite and it was not really value for money.I didnot enjoy the stay. The food options specially those travelling from Eastern part like West Bengal is much less and quality of food below par. There was no elevator in the hotel. No AC in dinning room and was using stand fan in dinning room😅😅 like a budget hotel. The lock and key system was back dated..not touch key system.
It is basically an upgraded budget hotel not at all a 3 star hotel.
Amazing Location. Secluded from the hustle and bustle of the conventional stays across Coorg and Madikeri.
Pretty Well Maintained, Ample Parking and Exceptional Service !
Laxmi, the lady who cooks food and Bala, the Caretaker of the place were very very warm in welcoming and accepting any requests from us.
They are the best part about this Stay.
The place was well kept and the ambience created and nurtured was very pleasing. The hotel had good amenities and polite staffs. The place is also at walkable distance from the Madikeri bus stand (Way is secluded during odd hours hence i would advise prefer to not walk during odd hours).
