Madikeri is good for 4 to 5 days stay you get to see great views all over, but it isn't always cold during the day as shown on internet, day time is as hot as eastern summers even in peak December

Harangi Elephant camp where we can feed and touch elephants. No elephant rides at this time but may be in future. The musical fountain show at Harangi dam was very nice (better than Brindavan gardens). Talakaveri - the birthplace of Kaveri is nice place to visit. Bird park at Nisarga dhama is very nice where you can feed the birds. Children would love it.

It's a great place for anybody who is from the plains.
It's a great place for anybody who is from the plains. This is a hilly area, it is neat. And clean it is very green and the people are nice. There is a lot to see there's a lot to buy and it's all pretty unique in itself. And if one is coming from a metro city, then it would be quite a bliss, the main Madikeri areas .

Nice place nestled in nature. The places to see are constantly repeated in most travel web sites and blogs. The highlight was the visit to the golden temple at Kushalnagar and the drive to talacauvery temple. Raja seats was crowded, so was the market. The weather was mostly pleasant. Would recommend a two day stay to see everything in Madikeri as well as Kushalnagar. Don’t forget to indulge in local cuisine while at Madikeri from Coorg Cuisine .

In April it is very hot in the morning. Night is ok.

As we have booked all 3 rooms, we were able to use Kitchen, hall without any hesitation. It was like a home in Madikeri. Sathish - owner is very helpful.
You can enjoy fullest when you plan your Breakfast and Dinner. Sathish helps in connecting to suppliers.
Really a great place to stay. The room & washroom were clean and spacious. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary utensils, which helped us to cook our food easily. Hotel owner Mr. Naveen and caretaker Mr. Umesh were polite, co-operative & friendly staff. Being tourists they guided us the best route to travel.
Its the best place that you could have for your vacation in Coorg. Surrounded by beautiful forest, this property literally makes you forget the tiring and noisy city life and embraces you in its serenity. Menu is limited and they need to work on it. Highly recommended.
