It's a great place for anybody who is from the plains. This is a hilly area, it is neat. And clean it is very green and the people are nice. There is a lot to see there's a lot to buy and it's all pretty unique in itself. And if one is coming from a metro city, then it would be quite a bliss, the main Madikeri areas .

Nice place nestled in nature. The places to see are constantly repeated in most travel web sites and blogs. The highlight was the visit to the golden temple at Kushalnagar and the drive to talacauvery temple. Raja seats was crowded, so was the market. The weather was mostly pleasant. Would recommend a two day stay to see everything in Madikeri as well as Kushalnagar. Don’t forget to indulge in local cuisine while at Madikeri from Coorg Cuisine .

In April it is very hot in the morning. Night is ok.
Try to stay is good homestay and in main town so that you can easily access basic facilities.

Madikeri is a great place to be laid back and chill out.
Madikeri is a great place to be laid back and chill out. It is a good escape from city environments and plan to stay for 1 day if single or couple or a couple of days if a group, in case you already visited the tourist spots. If you have not, you can cover it all in a maximum of 3 days, unless you wish to relax more.

This homestay having all facilities kind of star hotels i.e toiletries and cooking facilities.
It's secured and safe place to stay, suitable for family and friends.
The property owner was so nice and kind person. He made our stay to be more happy and remember able.
The location of the homestay was perfect. Far from the crowd, next to a coffee estate. The food cooked was delicious. Both the veg platters and the nonveg food was finger licking. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff was very accomodative and polite.
Will highly recommend the homestay for anyone looking to stay outside of Madikeri.
Food- tasty and reasonable, bed-huge and comfortable, views-offers the best in coorg, location-couldn't be better, staff-ever smiling and attentive. The list just keeps going for the Pros. This property should definitely be taken as an example for other government hotels in how to operate. Highly recommended when in coorg.
Fernhills is a beautiful place to stay with family. My kids enjoyed the vast place by running around and exploring. night life around the campfire was the best.
Food, aunthentic coorgi style, was tasty. The people there are veru friendly. Highly recommended to come and relax and have a feeling like ur at ur own house.
