Everything in this resort was exceptional , mind blowing , awesome.
The ambience was breathtaking with the resort situated on a hill slope overlooking a valley and among the coffee and spices plantations.
The service was extraordinary with courteous and friendly team from front desk and managing team of Sayantan and Soumyajit.
The in Room and restaurant and bar service was mind blowing with great food prepared by chefs Sujoy and Giridhar. If you like pork , do not miss the special Kodava Pandi Curry. It was a exquisite preparation by chef Sujoy.
The service of Hritwick, Sayan and Rajeenth cannot be forgotten. It was just exemplary and one of the best I had received. A special work of thanks to this team who went out of the way to serve us in best possible way. I will always remember the parting party organized specially for us.
Finally, how could I miss the " Birdman of Coorg" , Mr Ganesh. He had taken me for 2 wondrous nature walks and introduced me to the varieties of coffee plants, spices plants and orchids in one nature walk. In another nature walk he showed me so many beautiful birds of the Nilgiris and Malabar hills that I am short of words to describe the wonderful experience.
Also a special thanks to the management team whose names are not known to me who could assemble such a great team and maintained such high standard of hospitality.
I will forever cherish this stay.

It's a great place for anybody who is from the plains. This is a hilly area, it is neat. And clean it is very green and the people are nice. There is a lot to see there's a lot to buy and it's all pretty unique in itself. And if one is coming from a metro city, then it would be quite a bliss, the main Madikeri areas .

Nice place nestled in nature. The places to see are constantly repeated in most travel web sites and blogs. The highlight was the visit to the golden temple at Kushalnagar and the drive to talacauvery temple. Raja seats was crowded, so was the market. The weather was mostly pleasant. Would recommend a two day stay to see everything in Madikeri as well as Kushalnagar. Don’t forget to indulge in local cuisine while at Madikeri from Coorg Cuisine .

In April it is very hot in the morning. Night is ok.
Try to stay is good homestay and in main town so that you can easily access basic facilities.

Madikeri is a great place to be laid back and chill out.
Madikeri is a great place to be laid back and chill out. It is a good escape from city environments and plan to stay for 1 day if single or couple or a couple of days if a group, in case you already visited the tourist spots. If you have not, you can cover it all in a maximum of 3 days, unless you wish to relax more.

The location and the staff were amazing in the heart of the city.. the room was decent for the budget. If you are expecting a lot of scenic view then this is not your place..However, if you want to stay in the heart of the city with a peaceful neighborhood this is the go to place..about 800m from Raja Seat and 500m from Madikeri bus stand this is indeed a wonderful stay.

Laxmi, the lady who cooks food and Bala, the Caretaker of the place were very very warm in welcoming and accepting any requests from us.
They are the best part about this Stay.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. All requests were addressed. He personally inquired cabs for our day visit in Coorg. The view from our room window was marvelous. We arrived at 5 AM in the morning and were given early check in without any extra charges. The hotel is at the center of city and everything is at walking distance.
Really a great place to stay. The room & washroom were clean and spacious. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary utensils, which helped us to cook our food easily. Hotel owner Mr. Naveen and caretaker Mr. Umesh were polite, co-operative & friendly staff. Being tourists they guided us the best route to travel.
One of the affordable and best home stays in Madikeri for family. Food is very good and rooms are neat and clean.Location is also very good. Would suggest this property for families looking for a budget stay with great food.
