Dating back to 1747, this historic coaching inn boasts an on-site coffee shop selling fresh pastries, home-cooked food, and afternoon tea. It also features its own nightclub, an award-winning restaurant, and free Wi-Fi. Rooms at Dooly’s Hotel are elegant and traditionally furnished, and each benefits from a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. The Emmet Restaurant serves a wide range of dishes, and including Barbary duck and pan-fried sea bass. The cosy bar serves a variety of drinks in a relaxing environment. Birr Castle Demesne is close to Dooly's Hotel, and has 100 acres of grounds with river walks and pretty parkland. There is also a number of boutique shops for you to visit. Melbas Nightclub is the place to dance the night away. Our resident DJ’s spin the latest in dance, chart and R&B for your pleasure. Open every Saturday night. Some rooms may experience some noise from the Nightclub
